Prada Candy has moderate longevity under most women’s skin, lingering on the skin for around 8 hours. However, some traces of sugary caramel can stay on your body for a few more hours, and tough individual experiences may vary from person to person.
It´s important to acknowledge that the longevity of any fragrance is closely linked to individual skin chemistry. Therefore, results may vary from. We highly recommend purchasing a decant or a travel bottle size or even testing it and experiencing the performance on your skin.
Projection
Prada Candy showcases a low projection, demonstrating it’s not a fragrance to stand out in a crowd not for use for a party, but to use it in casual or intimate moments. Does that mean the perfume won´t cause a good impression? Absolutely not! The scent will project well in a short range around you, creating a pleasant and smelling aura for those close to you.
However, it´s important to mention that performance may vary with seasons. The projection has its shyest version during the winter season, turning it almost into a caramel body spray.
It´s a perfect smell to get cosy! During autumn and spring, the fragrance adopts 2 different behaviours, a clean and gourmand caramel during autumn’s cold temperatures or a youth sugary caramel during the mild temperature of spring. In both versions, the fragrance has its best projection, being perfect for casual moments.

Candy Prada emerges as a fragrance for cold and mild temperatures, being perfect for winter, spring, and autumn. This perfume was not crafted to give a single sensation, but to give 3 of them, each one for each season of the year. Except by summer… and you´ll understand why.
The fragrance is perfect for a wide range of occasions, such as: hanging out with friends, cosy moments with your boyfriend/girlfriend, and casual occasions. Its captivating blend of caramel, musk powdery and vanilla notes makes Prada Candy a compliment-getter on different occasions.
During winter, the perfume gets shy with a very low projection, which makes it perfect to use for intimate moments. During autumn it becomes a bit more vivid, showcasing a clean and gourmand scent, ideal to use during hangouts with friends. Despite being crafted for cold weather, Prada Candy can also be used during spring, since your scent becomes more youth with a sugary caramel scent.
The only season which I don´t recommend you to use is summer. The warmer temperatures make the fragrance annoying and instead of being a smelling perfume, it becomes a people-repellent.
Price
Despite being of high quality with rich ingredients, Prada Candy is a very expensive perfume. The fragrance can be found for something around 115€ – 130€ for the 80ml bottle.
Conclusion
With an addictive eye-catching commercial, Prada regained audiences’ attention in 2021 for a 2011 fragrance. And I need to say, this spotlight upgrade was well deserved!
